Requirements

  • Using their technical knowledge, the employee is responsible for assisting the CM in his tasks, supporting and advising clients and contractors, participating in the various meetings related to the handling and management of Enercon tools, material, and creating working documents to facilitate tool and material management.
  • This is a site position based for active projects, some task or assignment will require to work from our Boucherville facility.
  • The Material Management Coordinator will report to the Construction Manager while on site.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Supervisor with on-site activities.
  • Providing customer service and advising clients and contractors in relation to tooling and material on site.
  • Participating in various meetings regarding the tools and materials to order.
  • Participate and lead handovers on site of tooling and material between Enercon and customers / contractors.
  • Establish and maintain SAP inventories following Material management process. Ensuring accuracy and optimal stock levels.
  • Follow-up on material orders, organizing transports, handovers, on site inventory, and back shipping requirements.
  • Monitor and calculate needs in order to optimize the inventory of installation tools from year to year.
  • Daily monitoring of orders and construction of tool kits in order to provide operational support and quickly identify the need for action or reaction on the part of the company.
  • Participate in meetings with project managers to provide tooling support to help them accomplish their goals on time and at a lower cost, by proposing tooling alternatives or optimizing the kits requested.
  • Regularly learn about the various wind turbine installation, maintenance tools and applicable software through annual internal training, reading TSI in the Lotus Notes database and through his contact network that he will have to create over time.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement of material management process and procedure.
  • Proficient in forklift and zoom boom operation.
  • Proficient in rigging.
  • Inspection of lifting equipment and PPE.
  • Establish tool lists.
  • Assemble the tool kits.
  • Support the warehouse team during off season.
  • All other related tasks that can be requested.
