About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for material handling of inbound and outbound renal products by verifying sku’s, lots, quantity and condition of packages are correct. The outbound process includes picking and staging items in the right delivery sequence according to orders and balancing weight for the appropriate truck. This person is responsible for checking final pick with transportation documents, manually stretch-wrap pallets and prepare shipments for pick up. Will also assist with return products, inventory reconciliation, replenishment of pick locations, housekeeping and general upkeep of supplies and equipment. Pick-pack operations are also necessary. This position requires the ability to use material handling equipment for movement of products in the distribution centers and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner and ensures good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write, and count in English
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 65 lbs. from floor to above head
  • Must be able to verify product accuracy to include: Customer name, Product code, Quantity, and Expiration
  • Ability to operate Pallet Rider material handling equipment, operate hand stretch wrap devices.
  • Legible handwriting needed
  • Stages and balances loads in proper sequence
  • Ensures proper products are loaded and all paperwork and equipment are loaded and prepared for daily drivers dispatching
  • Must be able to drive small van to make customer deliveries to customers in emergencies or overflow situations
  • Maintain and clean warehouse according to daily activity and established schedules. Specifically, good housekeeping policies
  • Utilize equipment such as: Box knife, tape gun, hand pallet jack, manual stretch wrappers, and motorized MHE equipment.
  • Communication equipment, RF scanning devices, computers, etc.
  • Works with drivers directly to problem solve and find continuous improvement opportunities in loading and unloading processes

Responsibilities

  • Checking final pick with transportation documents.
  • Manually stretch-wrap pallets and prepare shipments for pick up.
  • Assisting with return products, inventory reconciliation, replenishment of pick locations, housekeeping and general upkeep of supplies and equipment.
  • Pick-pack operations.
  • Using material handling equipment for movement of products in the distribution centers and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld.
  • Repositioning up to 40 CDL vehicles per night; frequently backing them into dock doors.
  • Processing, labeling, and staging all returned products for occasional 3PL for processing.
  • Working with 3PL and Baxter staff to resolve any discrepancies found during order validation and loading process to ensure uninterrupted dispatch of drivers.
