About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator II is responsible for overseeing warehouse associates and daily operations, ensuring associates understand their duties and delegated tasks. This role involves initiating and maintaining communication with the TS Dept. for prompt notifications of any slow-downs or failures, and fostering strong communication with "customer" and "supplier" departments to meet mutual "customer service" needs. The coordinator enforces company rules and regulations, utilizes reports to identify productivity opportunities, monitors associate productivity, and provides constructive feedback and coaching. A high level of knowledge and focus in their areas of responsibility is expected, along with the ability to perform all warehouse functions in the assigned area. The role requires supporting and complying with the company’s objectives, programs, and vision, and effectively articulating them to associates. Responsibilities also include maintaining associates’ timekeeping records, assisting with employee training, supporting the Supervisor/Manager with daily and monthly paperwork, and maintaining open communication and coordinating workload requirements with all appropriate personnel. Knowledge of company policies and warehouse procedures, PC skills (including Red Prairie, SAP, and other software), monitoring assigned areas for problems, coordinating work with other areas, ensuring timely error correction, and working in all areas (first and second floors) are essential. The ability to interact within a team environment, work a flex schedule, and operate facility equipment is also required. Marginal responsibilities include performing other work area functions as needed to accommodate changing work load priorities.

  • Ensure errors are corrected within a timely manner so as not to impede work flow.
  • Work in all areas as needed (first and second floors).
