About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk assists the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day warehouse functions, including working with location warehouse stock and resolving issues using the stock management system. The role also performs other responsibilities as directed by the business or assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager, depending on local requirements.

Requirements

A minimum of 0–1 year of warehousing experience.
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and to converse comfortably with customers.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.

Responsibilities

Receive and store merchandise according to company standards.
Ticket merchandise according to branch standards for accuracy and timeliness.
Review incoming orders, advise the Merchandise Manager and/or Warehouse Manager of errors or questions, and assist with resolutions when appropriate.
Process information from ordering and receiving forms according to company standards and enter it correctly into the stock management system.
Update information in the management system as needed and produce appropriate reports.
Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of products.
Assist with day-to-day warehouse functions, work with warehouse stock, and resolve issues using the stock management system.
Perform other responsibilities as directed by the business or assigned by management.
