About The Position

This position is responsible for accurately compiling orders for Meijer stores. The work involves heavy lifting and a cold environment, and includes working nights and weekends. The role supports receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, product quality, and building sanitation for Fresh and Frozen foods.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Intermediate computer and technology skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
Good listening and communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills, ability to relate well to others, and ability to build and sustain effective work relationships.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Prior warehouse experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Ensure order and inventory accuracy using established processes.
Work with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
Maintain product quality and temperature standards during safe transfer and storage.
Follow established inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
Accurately complete receiving, order, and shipping processes.
Consistently maintain building sanitation standards.
Practice 200% safety accountability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
