About The Position

This position is responsible for accurately compiling orders for Meijer stores. The work involves heavy lifting and working in a cold environment, as well as working nights and weekends. The role handles receiving, inventory, shipping, and storage processes for fresh and frozen foods while maintaining product quality, temperature, sanitation, and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Intermediate computer and technology skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
Good listening and communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate well to others and build and sustain effective work relationships.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Takes pride in a job well done.

Prior warehouse experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Ensure order and inventory accuracy through established processes.
Work with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping processes for fresh and frozen foods.
Maintain product quality and temperature standards during safe transfer and storage.
Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
Accurately complete receiving, order, and shipping processes.
Maintain building sanitation standards.
Practice 200% safety accountability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
