About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk performs a combination of tasks to receive, store, distribute, and ship products and materials. The position provides leadership to the department by assigning daily work and setting priorities, and assists the Warehouse Supervisor while interacting with customers and vendors.

The role is based at the Winston-Salem, North Carolina manufacturing location and is listed as full-time, first shift. Candidates must undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer and before starting employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• At least 2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
• At least 2 years of forklift experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the department, assign daily work, and set priorities.
• Schedule inbound loads of customer products and materials.
• Schedule outbound shipments to meet customer due dates.
• Verify product counts, quantities, and descriptions.
• Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials.
• Replenish products to production lines.
• Process shipping and receiving paperwork and inventory transactions.
• Perform physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and interact with customers and vendors.
