About The Position

ABM is hiring a Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at a building or facility in Olathe, Kansas. The role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties. The position is described as suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Shifts are listed as Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat, either 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. or 6 p.m.–4:30 a.m. Pay is $17.22–$17.72 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, and service and restock them with necessary supplies.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Follow proper procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damaging surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management when repairs or additions to building systems are needed.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
