About The Position

Ryder is hiring a permanent, full-time Warehouse Case Picker to support its facility in the City of Industry, California. The role handles garments and supports warehouse distribution operations. Equipment used includes an RF scanner and manual pallet jack. The listed pay is $17.00 per hour, with possible shift differential; the posting also advertises $18.00 per hour and a $0.50 shift premium for second shift. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Adequate math skills.
• Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes.
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask; highly organized, with excellent time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Pick products and cases.
• Palletize, hand stack, and stretch-wrap products as required.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
