About The Position

Build and load pallets of Pepsi, Gatorade, Aquafina, and other products to keep communities supplied safely, accurately, and on time. The role involves preparing pallets and loads for bulk and route trucks, moving products to picking areas, and staging or loading completed orders. Employees receive hands-on and classroom on-the-job training and work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, on the go for most of the day.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to perform physical labor, with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to work non-traditional shifts and weekends.
• May be required to use a forklift or become forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Hand-build pallets of product for bulk and route trucks, following warehouse instructions and load sheets.
• Use an electronic order system or order sheets to ensure accuracy when loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks.
• Operate a forklift and/or power pallet jack to move product to picking areas and build pallets or loads as assigned.
• Wrap and secure completed pallets or loads to maintain stability during transport.
• Stage pallets and/or load product into trailers and trucks, including handling returned pallets and plastic flats.
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items and submit paperwork for review before loading.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following housekeeping standards in the work area.
