About The Position

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a Warehouse/Back-up Driver in McAllen, Texas. This is a physically demanding role involving repetitive heavy lifting and constant movement in a non-climate-controlled environment. The employee unloads and inspects incoming product, pulls, stages, and loads orders for customers, provides deliveries in a 26-foot box truck as needed, and assists with inventory and damage control. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime. Pay is $15–$17, based on factors including skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. Additional compensation may include driving and target bonuses.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Be able to perform repetitive heavy lifting of 50–75 pounds and constant movement.
• Pass all DOT requirements, including a physical examination, background screening, and a motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets Amarr driver standards.
• Be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrate a history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product, often by hand; items may weigh 50–75 pounds.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers while providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26-foot box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.
