About The Position

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a Warehouse/Back-up Driver in Austin, Texas. This is a physically demanding warehouse position involving consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate-controlled environment. The role supports receiving, inspecting, staging, and loading products, serving customers, assisting with inventory and damage control, and providing deliveries in a 26-foot box truck as needed.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime. Pay is $22–$24, based on factors including skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. Additional compensation may include driving bonuses and target bonuses. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Be able to perform heavy, repetitive lifting of 50–75 pounds and constant movement.
• Pass DOT requirements, including a physical and background screening, and have a motor vehicle record that meets Amarr driver standards.
• Be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Have a demonstrated history of steady employment.
• Be comfortable working in a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product, often by hand; products can weigh 50–75 pounds.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers while providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26-foot box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.
