About The Position

Our JBS Leather Team is seeking a hardworking, reliable Warehouse Attendant based in Hickory, NC. This role will be responsible for typical duties maintaining a warehouse at our Tannery distribution center operations. Additional responsibilities include setting up show rooms, as needed, as well as assisting with sales aids.

Requirements

• Ability to lift a maximum of 70 pounds alone
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Pulling and packing orders
• Loading/unloading trucks with an electric forklift and/or manual pallet jack
• Building boxes for shipping small orders
• Breaking down wooden crates/pallets for proper disposal
• Fulfilling picking tickets with proper hide measurements
• Updating physical inventory sheets with any footages removed for orders or samples
• General cleaning duties
• Assistance with showroom set up and breakdown, as needed
• Assistance with sales aids, as needed
• Other duties as assigned
