About The Position

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for performing daily cycle counts, maintaining accurate inventory, and managing the put-away of finished goods and details from INS into proper bin locations. This role involves picking parts for pick lists, travelers, and assembly, assigning tooling to work travelers, and returning tools to their designated bins. The attendant will also track work using an ERP system, move products as needed, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to add and subtract.
  • Basic understanding of computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with supervisor and coworkers.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving limited variables in manufacturing process.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. law (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or temporary resident granted amnesty).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience working with manufactured aerospace components preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts on inventory items.

  • Sign into and track work using an ERP system.
  • Move products to other areas as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
