About The Position

Timken Mounted Bearings is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Ferndale, Washington. The position supports Production/Assembly, Urethane Manufacturing, and/or Packaging/Shipping/Receiving operations. The Warehouse Associate applies developing knowledge and skills across manufacturing operations, follows direction, and supports an adaptable work environment aligned with business-unit goals and performance metrics. The position is full-time and works a weekday day-shift schedule: Monday through Friday, either 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., depending on department assignment. The starting rate is $19.50 per hour, with a stated pay range of $19.50–$22.00 per hour. Promotion opportunities are available as skills are developed and mastered, and merit increases are considered each March based on budget, business, and individual performance.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Successfully complete a pre-employment medical examination and background check.
Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
Knowledge of and ability to work with a wide variety of hand tools and light-duty power tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute standard work instructions accurately and efficiently.
Promote and maintain a safe work area.
Perform high-quality shipping and/or receiving duties.
Package products and manually load totes and crates with boxed product.
Receive components and stock shelves.
Maintain attention to detail and high-quality workmanship in all duties.
Maintain housekeeping and organization in work areas.
Wear required personal protective equipment and follow company safety procedures, including safe lifting practices.
Communicate issues, shortages, or problems to Warehouse Coordinators, Supervisors, and/or Customer Relations Management Representatives.
Support and rotate to other warehouse areas as needed and during periods of fluctuating demand.
Adhere to 5S organizational standards.
