About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate accurately performs warehouse duties and may operate company equipment and vehicles. When using equipment or vehicles, the employee is expected to exercise care and discretion and follow occupational health and safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies and procedures. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record and a clean background check.
High school diploma or higher.
Problem-solving skills to address process problems.
Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks daily, including continuously lifting boxes weighing 40–50 pounds.
Good eye-hand coordination and motor skills.
Ability to work under time constraints and productivity requirements.
Willingness to follow established procedures and suggest improvements.
Willingness to work at heights of 12–14 feet.
Ability to use a handheld computer and electric pickers, and to drive a van and bob truck.
Flexibility to accept different work hours and assignments.
Willingness to work overtime.
Strong customer service background.
Detail-oriented work style.
Dependable, reliable, and mature approach to operating equipment safely.
Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
Commitment to accuracy, quality, productivity, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

Barcode and process new boxes.
Pull access lists.
Refile boxes and files.
Barcode and process boxes scheduled for destruction.
Perform bay consolidation duties.
Operate a picker forklift or other company equipment proficiently.
Inspect equipment for safety and operation before signing it out, including checking the battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
Travel safely to assigned areas to pull, load, and move boxes.
Perform warehouse maintenance.
Make pickups and deliveries.
Maintain vehicles.
Return equipment to the correct charging station at the end of each day and prepare it for overnight charging.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain company confidentiality and security.
