About The Position

Carrier Enterprise, a national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate in Richmond, Virginia. The role supports daily warehouse operations and the timely, efficient distribution of HVAC products. Work includes picking and verifying orders, loading and unloading products, maintaining inventory control, and using warehouse technology. The position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the HVAC industry.
Proven warehouse operations experience, preferably in HVAC or a similar distribution industry.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in PC skills and experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Exceptional multitasking abilities.

Nice To Haves

Current forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return.
Load and unload delivery vehicles.
Maintain accurate inventory of products entering or leaving the warehouse.
Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards.
Scan products to support accurate and timely shipping.
Coordinate product delivery with internal customers, including Store Associates and Sales Managers.
Provide customer service to external customers, including mechanical contractors, dealers, and owners.
Perform other duties as assigned.
