About The Position

This is a backfill for an existing vacancy within the team. Gerrie Electric is one of the largest independent electrical distributors, with 24 key Ontario locations and over 400 employees. As a Warehouse Representative, you will work as part of a team and act as the face of Gerrie Electric, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, shipped and received.

Requirements

• Interested in pursuing a career in the electrical industry
• You have good communication skills and like the idea of working as part of a team
• Cable cutting experience
• Ability to work in a face paced environment
• Must be computer literate

Nice To Haves

• Material handling experience is an asset
• Previous experience working in a warehouse is an asset

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain relationships with customers (we have a lot of repeat customers)
• Connect with customers to address questions and resolve issues through different channels including face-to-face, by email and over the phone
• Continuous learning of electrical, lighting and automation products and share your knowledge with customers
• In-store merchandising of day-to-day stock, as well as new and promotional products
• Picking, packing, shipping and receiving of Gerrie product.
• Other duties as assigned (we’ll keep you busy!)
