The Account Executive position primarily identifies the needs of a customer and provides a chance to meet those needs through the purchase of products or services. They will market those products to new and existing customers. Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in commercial and/or industrial security systems
  • Strong knowledge of alarm systems such as DSC
  • Hands-on experience with Alarm.com solutions
  • Experience selling and supporting access control systems
  • Knowledge of entry level to enterprise level IP-based video surveillance systems
  • Working knowledge of structured data cabling, low-voltage hardware, and network fundamentals
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate them clearly to both customers and internal teams

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Avigilon and Inaxsys platforms (configuration, positioning, or sales) would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial and industrial accounts, from prospecting through close
  • Sell integrated security solutions including intrusion alarms, access control, video surveillance, and paging systems
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements
  • Work closely with the operations, and installation teams to ensure accurate scope and successful project delivery
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor for system upgrades and expansions
  • Track sales activities, forecasts, and opportunities using CRM tools
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
