About The Position

The Warehouse Associate - Stock stocks items on shelves and helps maintain a neat, orderly warehouse. This role supports distribution operations by ensuring inventory is received, stocked, and replenished accurately and efficiently. The position is based in Lorain, Ohio, pays $15.00 per hour, and is listed for the first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Parts Authority describes the role as full-time and offers opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Requirements

Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move objects weighing 10–50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach; occasionally sit, climb ladders and/or stairs, or balance.
Work in conditions that may include exposure to environmental conditions and temperature changes, and function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Demonstrate time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure and with staff members and supervisors.
Have open availability and flexibility to work various shifts and overtime.
Be familiar with warehouse safety measures.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper shelf location.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets.
Assist with pulling parts during busy periods.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
