About The Position

Parts Authority is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Stock to support warehouse operations at a rapidly expanding automotive parts distributor. The role is responsible for stocking items on shelves and maintaining a neat, orderly warehouse. The associate receives merchandise from vendors and other stores, checks received items, helps correct inventory-count errors, and assists with parts pulling during busy periods. The position also involves cleaning the warehouse and working with the stock manager to address order or stocking problems. This is a full-time position offering a minimum stated wage of $18.47 per hour. Candidates must be able to work various shifts and overtime, follow written and verbal directions, meet productivity and quality standards, and perform physical warehouse tasks. One to two years of warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper shelf locations.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assist in pulling parts during busy periods.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Complete miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
