About The Position

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools and equipment, and transmissions. The Warehouse Associate - Stock stocks items on shelves and helps maintain a neat, orderly warehouse. The role involves receiving merchandise, checking it against records, placing it in the correct locations, assisting with parts pulling during busy periods, and resolving stocking or order problems in coordination with the stock manager. The associate also performs warehouse cleanup and other related duties or projects as assigned.

Regularly lift, push, pull, or move objects weighing 10–50 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach; occasionally sit, climb ladders or stairs, or balance.
Meet the job's vision requirements, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Be able to work in environmental conditions with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes, and in narrow aisles or passageways.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper location on the shelves.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Complete miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
