About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and storing inbound shipments, participating in inventory counts, processing incoming and outgoing orders, maintaining organized product storage, and ensuring timely picking, packing, and shipping. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tomball, Texas, working Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Pay starts at $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience performing similar tasks in a relevant warehouse setting.
• At least 2 years of experience with warehouse equipment, such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
• Experience using PDA scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers respectfully, concisely, and clearly.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to stand and bend for long periods, with occasional squatting, stooping, and turning at the waist.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• Comfort working at significant heights on machinery, up to 24 feet.

Nice To Haves

• Reach truck and cherry picker experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck, cherry picker, forklift, and pallet jack when necessary.
• Accurately and safely put away inbound shipments.
• Use a PDA scanner when moving products in and out of inventory.
• Ensure inventory is stored and organized properly.
• Process, package, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Inspect products for defects and damage and report quality deficiencies.
• Participate in regular inventory counts.
• Keep equipment and the work area clean and orderly, and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Report any damages to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and orderly facility environment.
• Follow company safety and quality procedures and other policies and guidelines governing company operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
