About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role involves working with a team to unload, sort, move, and load packages safely and efficiently. Packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds may need to be handled independently, with team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds. The employer provides training; previous warehouse experience is not required.

The position is seasonal part-time at the Reno, Nevada location, with a stated season running from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Shifts typically last approximately 7–8 hours, and end times may vary with package volume and business needs. The posting notes that team members may need to work weekends or holidays when needed and scheduled overtime when business needs require. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent roles after the assignment ends, subject to eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages.
• Handle packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently and participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.

Benefits

• Weekly pay.
• Pay of $19.50 per hour.
• An additional $1 per hour on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• $500 seasonal bonus, subject to eligibility, amount, and payment requirements that may vary by location and assignment.
