Requirements

Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially handling finished goods.
In a window plant, prior experience handling glass or window products is a plus.
Forklift experience
Ability to lift heavy items (often 50‑75+ lbs), sometimes unassisted.
Good stamina: standing, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling for long periods.
Capability to work in variable environmental conditions (temperature extremes, dust, etc.).
Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols (PPE, handling of fragile/ sharp materials, etc.).
Sometimes specific safety certifications.
Basic ability to read labels, route codes, use measuring tools (tape measure etc.).
Basic computer literacy (data entry, warehouse management systems, scanning units).
Good communication skills; ability to work on a team.
Being 18+ years old in many facilities.
Valid driver's license
Reliable attendance, punctuality.
Occasionally ability to work overtime, weekends, or multiple shifts.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Unloading deliveries, checking for accuracy, and storing items appropriately
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
Organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate, and conducting regular inventory checks
Inspecting products for defects and damages, ensuring only quality items are shipped
Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations
Serve as a positive role model consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands Mission, Vision and Core Values
Provide cost saving suggestions and ideas to improve production and eliminate waste
Utilize scanning equipment
Must be willing/able to work overtime
Team player and keeping safety first
Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as assigned
