About The Position

The Warehouse Associate safely receives, picks, packs, prepares, puts away, and ships products according to established production rates, processes, and procedures. Associates are cross-trained across departments and may be assigned to pick, pack, receiving, shipping, or put-away work based on business and operational needs. This is a part-time seasonal role at Sephora’s Omni-Channel Distribution Center in Avon, Indiana, with a listed schedule of Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The role requires following company, state, and OSHA safety rules and Loss Prevention policies, maintaining acceptable attendance, and responding proactively to direction from leadership. Associates provide high-quality internal and external customer service and work effectively with others in a fast-paced distribution center. The warehouse and office environments have moderately varying temperature and humidity. Employees must be able to stand, sit, squat, lift, and walk throughout the scheduled shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Starting and target pay is $18.00 per hour. Certain work schedules may be eligible for shift differential pay. Requirements

• Familiarity with warehouse management system (WMS) picking procedures or previous experience using menu-driven applications.
• Familiarity with warehouse layout or the ability to learn it.
• Ability to operate RF terminals to receive, pick, and replenish warehouse product.
• Ability to pack product using preferred methods.
• Basic math skills and ability to match numbers.
• Ability to be cross-trained in receiving, picking, packing, put-away, and shipping processes.
• Ability to understand other business functions as they apply to the position.
• Ability to work closely and effectively with others in a way that promotes teamwork.
• Positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, lift, and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive and stock product, and pick, pack, prepare, and ship orders to retail stores and online customers according to established procedures and production rates.
• Perform pick, pack, receiving, shipping, and put-away assignments as business and operational needs require.
• Follow company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations, and report safety violations or potential violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
• Comply with Company Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by Sephora.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule and work designated shifts and overtime when requested for business and operational needs.
• Respond proactively to direction from the leadership team, Shift Coordinators, management staff, and other departmental personnel.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service according to company standards.
• Work closely and effectively with others to promote teamwork.
