Warehouse Associate - Pallet Repair
About The Position
The Warehouse Associate – Pallet Repair assists customers by repairing damaged pallets and returning them to service-ready condition before consolidating and shipping them back to the customer. The role supports customer relationships through safe, efficient, and quality-focused work in the repair area. The position is located in Zephyrhills, Florida, and pays $14.00–$22.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The work involves repetitive lifting, handling and moving pallets and materials, and working in conditions that may include heat, cold, outdoor elements, and airborne particulates. Hearing protection is usually required, and safety glasses and safety shoes are mandatory.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools.
- High school degree or GED.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
- Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
- Use appropriate tools and methods to repair damaged pallets and return them to service-ready condition.
- Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
- Inspect repaired products to verify that they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work safely and efficiently without constant supervision to meet production quotas in the repair area.
- Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights.
- Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
- Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates to the appropriate staging area.
- Check loads to ensure they are secure.
- Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
