Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Griffin Warehouse located at 375 Green Valley Road, Griffin, GA 30224.

Requirements

  • Consistent usage of required PPE and safety procedures for tasks being performed.

  • Previous experience working within a logistics/warehouse setting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds individually.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working within a Caterpillar/manufacturing environment in 2024-2025.

Responsibilities

  • Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists.
  • Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking, packing and shipping parts, materials and supplies.
  • Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
  • Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey load to destination or signal crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
  • Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
  • Clamp sections of portable conveyor together or place conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products.
  • Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
  • Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident-free workplace.
  • Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain ongoing housekeeping excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.

  • Night shift premium of $2.00 per hour for 3rd shift.
