Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring a 3rd shift Warehouse Associate Liquor Picker. The team members of Frank Beverage Group are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers. The Warehouse Associate – Liquor Order Picker is responsible for picking liquor orders and physically building pallets according to system direction. This role performs replenishment of liquor pick modules, conducts inventory cycle counts, consolidates like products into floor pick locations, and ensures returned liquor from daily and satellite routes is properly processed and put away. The position ensures pick locations are organized, properly stocked, rotated, and aligned both physically and virtually within warehouse systems.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of liquor picking and warehouse operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies within pick modules.
  • Ability to perform replenishment and inventory consolidation tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
  • Experience in liquor picking or warehouse distribution operations required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Pick liquor orders accurately using the warehouse picking systems and build pallets according to system direction.
  • Physically build pallets in accordance with established palletization standards and layering logic.
  • Perform replenishment of liquor pick modules to maintain picking efficiency and prevent empty pick locations.
  • Refill dedicated pick locations and ensure product is rotated properly based on date and product integrity standards.
  • Combine like products into floor pick locations based on nightly consolidation reports provided by management.
  • Ensure all replenishment movements are completed both physically and virtually in the warehouse management system.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts within liquor pick modules and report discrepancies to supervision.
  • Put away all returned liquor products from daily routes, including satellite locations, into proper designated areas.
  • Separate returned product into appropriate categories including sellable, rotation, damaged, or destruction as directed.
  • Immediately secure and isolate broken liquor product. Remove bottles from damaged cartons, wipe down and clean each bottle to remove glass or residue, properly repackage or dispose of product according to company standards, and notify supervision for required inventory adjustments.
  • Maintain organized pick locations and ensure floor pick modules are clean, accessible, and properly labeled.
  • Remove empty pallets, shrink wrap, and debris from pick and backstock areas.
  • Assist with correcting miss-picks and resolving short pick discrepancies as directed by supervision.
  • Communicate product setup issues, location discrepancies, or inventory concerns to supervision promptly.
  • Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment safely when required and complete required inspection logs.
  • Proactively communicate and coordinate with all warehouse managers, supervisors, and internal departments to maintain alignment, resolve operational challenges, and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Other duties as assigned, which may include roles and responsibilities from other warehouse departments as needed.
