About The Position

The Warehouse Associate joins the Madison, Wisconsin team and is primarily responsible for pulling customer orders with an RF scanning gun, preparing shipments, and loading trucks safely while making good use of space. The position has a 9:00 a.m. start time and is full-time.

Requirements

• High attention to detail and strong math skills to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to follow directions and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift without assistance; weight varies based on product.
• Ability to work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis.
• Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Ability to work on one's feet, including walking for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders accurately as assigned for daily deliveries using an RF scanner.
• Stage orders according to truck location and verify the accuracy of pallets and other items.
• Load trucks for daily and special deliveries.
• Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate action.
• May operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery.
• Assist customers and/or drivers in loading materials into vehicles and trucks.
• Work as part of a team and individually.
• Perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
