About The Position

Power-Flo Technologies is looking for a full-time warehouse associate to join their team in New Hyde Park. The company is a premier provider of supplies, services, and solutions for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing industries. They are a unique Family of Companies serving the New York metropolitan and New England areas, acting as a Master Distributor and Manufacturers Representative with REAL SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS.

Requirements

1+ years of warehouse experience required.
Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles as needed (no CDL required).
Experience with cycle counting, consolidation, and inventory management.
Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds.
Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies.
Ability to work well independently and on a team, have a great attitude, and be willing to learn.
Ability to communicate in verbal and written form with functional English skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience a plus.
Experience with UPS, DHL, and/or FedEx a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform basic warehouse work including removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving (as needed), and organizing.
Pull and stage orders for shipment.
Organize inventory.
Cycle count.
Maintain a clean driver's license to operate company vehicles.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and occasionally operate delivery vehicles (box trucks and vans).
Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders (as needed).
