About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials within the warehouse and various job sites. This role requires an understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management practices, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will work independently on tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
  • Current Valid Driver’s License.
  • Current counterbalance forklift certification
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control principles.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and inventory software.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Accurately process paperwork.
  • Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations.
  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare shipments according to customer and carrier requirements.
  • Verify shipping documentation and ensure proper labeling.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Store materials in designated locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in organizing warehouse layouts and optimizing storage utilization.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Collaborate with inventory, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to resolve issues.
