About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate, you will unload containers of boxed furniture, organize the warehouse, and stage outgoing orders for home delivery partners. Article has been creating remarkably better furniture experiences one sofa at a time since 2013.

Requirements

6+ months of warehouse experience
Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs. on your own
Able to routinely lift 50 lbs. of merchandise by yourself.
Able to handle heavy items (100-300+ lbs.) with team members and/or proper lifting equipment.
Can speak and read English
Able to stand for most of your shift
Reliable transportation to and from work
You're reliable and show up ready
You follow instructions and learn fast
You put the team first—we win together
You're safety-minded in all tasks
You can use handheld scanners, computers, and other tools
Legally able to work in Canada
Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test (THC not tested)
Completion of a criminal background check
Article considers qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records

Responsibilities

Picking and packing pre-boxed furniture
Unloading inbound containers/ trucks
Moving stock around the warehouse
Processes returned items, cleaning or otherwise preparing it to be returned to stock
Promote a safe and clean environment across the facility
Complete duties as required
