About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including moving raw materials and finished goods, loading and unloading trucks, preparing products for shipping, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. The position also involves accurate receiving of products and raw materials, assisting with inventory, and managing shipping documentation. Additionally, the role may involve training new hires, communicating with external parties, and performing cycle counting.

Requirements

Experience with warehouse, shipping, and receiving required
Excellent and professional communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate computer experience including basic Excel
3+ years of forklift experience required
Ability to train others
Ability to drive box truck
Basic math skills

Responsibilities

Moves raw material from the warehouse to the production floor.
Moves finished goods from the production floor to the warehouse.
Assists in loading and unloading trucks.
Maintains housekeeping in the warehouse.
Prepares product for shipping.
Responsible for paperwork for shipping purposes using the existing computer system.
Responsible for receiving product and raw materials into the warehouse accurately and following procedures.
Assists with quarterly physical inventory.
Creates and maintains document distribution list (BOL, COA, ASN,) for all customers.
Generates and distributes COA, and Advanced Shipping Notice as requested per shipment.
Performs back-up responsibilities to Warehouse/Receiving Shipping Clerk.
Assists with training new hires or cross-training existing employees.
Communicates with vendors, customers, Customer Service Department, etc. as needed.
Performs cycle counting as needed.
