About The Position

This day-shift warehouse position works across warehouse operations, particularly receiving loads, replenishing the pick line, counting inventory, and loading and unloading product. The employee handles product safely and carefully, maintains proper product rotation and the integrity of the automated Warehouse Management System, and receives, stores, and ships product according to Saratoga Eagle and brewer partner standards. Duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• One to two years of related warehousing and forklift experience and/or training is recommended.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to add and subtract.
• Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Knowledge of Internet software.
• Must obtain a CDL-A permit within three months of hire.
• Excellent communication and people skills to respond to situations.
• Understanding of the product code dating system.
• Frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 165 pounds.
• Close vision.

Responsibilities

• Receive loads and product.
• Replenish the pick line.
• Count inventory.
• Load and unload product.
• Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks after proper training.
• Handle product safely and carefully.
• Ensure proper product rotation and maintain the integrity of the automated Warehouse Management System.
• Receive, store, and ship product according to Saratoga Eagle and brewer partner standards.
