About The Position

This position assists in performing administrative and fundamental procurement assignments, material shipment tracing, and expediting activities with vendors.

Requirements

Must have active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Minimum of two (2) years of inventory management experience.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent
Reasonably good interpersonal and communication skills
Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
Material handling equipment certifications

Responsibilities

Maintain material management logs and input material management commitment-related information into databases (such as approved material management reference system, Maximo, etc.)
Routing materials to assigned storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials.
May be required to update approved material management reference system for buyers
Operate hand and power trucks in performing warehouse duties
Organize and maintain files
Other duties as assigned
