Day Shift Warehouse Associate

About The Position

Cardinal Health is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, which include the manual or automated tasks involved in receiving, storing, and shipping products. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products needed to care for their patients. The role follows established processes to pick, quality-check, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, while supporting the efficient flow of products to internal and external customers. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Training is provided starting on the first day. The role involves working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented distribution environment and may require cross-training in multiple warehouse areas.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English to process documents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
