About The Position

OnTrac is hiring seasonal Warehouse Associates (also described as Seasonal Package Handlers) to help move packages through its Commerce, California warehouse during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role involves working with a team to unload, sort, move, and load packages, keeping them organized and moving safely and efficiently. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The position is seasonal and part-time, with shifts offered from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on one of several schedules: Tuesday–Saturday, Sunday–Thursday, or Friday–Monday. Shifts are approximately five hours, though end times may vary with package volume and business needs. The stated season runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. The role pays $18.50 per hour, is eligible for overtime pay as required by applicable law, and offers a seasonal bonus subject to applicable eligibility and payment terms. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent openings after the assignment, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
