About The Position

Empire Scale Corporation is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations and logistics. The role involves accurate handling, storage, and distribution of inventory, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers. This is a part-time position averaging 20 hours per week. The stated pay range is $18–$22 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 30 or more pounds regularly without accommodation.
• Comfort using computers and warehouse-related software systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Must pass a physical examination, including pre-employment examinations and examinations as required by customers.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with shipping a variety of products, including hazardous materials (hazmat), is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Manage the movement of customer-owned assets into and out of the facility.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers, including UPS, FedEx, local couriers, and LTL providers.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective shipping solutions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across company facilities.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers about shipping and receiving matters.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Represent Empire Scale Corp. professionally in all interactions.
