About The Position

The Warehouse Associate maintains the flow of the warehouse by ensuring products are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. The role includes keeping the warehouse clean and organized, managing inventory, and preparing products for installation. It requires attention to detail, compliance with safety procedures, and regular heavy lifting. The position is primarily based in a warehouse, with exposure to dust and noise. Employees must wear required safety gear and follow warehouse safety protocols. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a warehouse environment.
Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and safety measures.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Good manual dexterity for handling, packing, and securing materials.
Comfort working in a physically demanding environment.

Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Load and unload delivery trucks, moving products by hand or with forklifts.
Organize warehouse stock and keep areas neat and tidy.
Conduct inventory checks and assist in managing inventory levels.
Follow warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
Prepare orders for installation and stage goods efficiently.
Maintain safety standards by following policies and procedures and wearing protective equipment as required.
Collaborate with the operations team to meet and exceed business goals.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Work effectively in a team environment.
