About The Position
The Warehouse Associate is a contract-to-hire role paying $20.00 per hour on a day shift. The position offers the opportunity to become a permanent employee in approximately 3–4 months, based on performance, attendance, and business needs. The intended path is toward long-term employment and experience in inventory management, distribution, equipment operation, and supply chain operations. The role involves receiving and organizing inventory, preparing and verifying outbound orders, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory. The company offers hands-on training and opportunities to develop additional warehouse and supply chain skills. Benefits are available after conversion to permanent employee status.
Requirements
- Previous, verifiable warehouse experience.
- A consistent work history and dependable attendance.
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Attention to detail, safe work habits, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and remain active throughout the shift.
- Ability to meet background screening requirements.
- A current resume.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
- Pick, prepare, and verify outbound orders for accuracy.
- Safely operate forklifts, walkie riders, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Maintain accurate inventory and follow established warehouse procedures.
- Learn new processes, equipment, and skills as the operation develops.
