About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate, you will help create a seamless, customer-focused experience by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You will handle items carefully, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, follow safety practices, and contribute to on-time delivery and excellent service. The role also involves supporting a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace by working cooperatively with colleagues.

Requirements

No education or experience required.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work various shifts and switch between multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, and to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours excluding breaks; frequently use computers and handheld electronic equipment; reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull; and lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 pounds.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck (PIT) warning devices.

Responsibilities

Load and unload cartons and merchandise from delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis while sorting and organizing merchandise.
Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and in accordance with productivity standards.
Enter data accurately using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, and other systems; learn area-specific warehouse and proprietary system functions.
Perform job functions safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards to the safety committee.
Prepare for shifts by wearing a name badge, following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking work-area readiness, and staying informed about daily goals and support.
Work with speed and accuracy, handle merchandise carefully, and pack customer orders neatly.
Build positive relationships with coworkers through respectful communication, offering assistance, and supporting new and existing teammates.
At the end of the shift, tidy the workstation, return equipment, replenish supplies, and recognize coworkers' contributions.
Foster acceptance and respect and strengthen relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
