About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily warehouse activities that support smooth operations and efficient project completion. The role includes unloading containers, picking, packing, and shipping orders, conducting cycle counts, checking outgoing deliveries for quality and matching order slips, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining equipment and accurate work records. The associate also works with the manager to identify and implement improvements to department effectiveness and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic understanding of warehouse records, inventories, and other routine documentation.
Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
Experience working with UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Unload containers of up to 600 cartons.
Pick, pack, and ship orders.
Perform cycle counts.
Verify outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards and that order slips match and have the appropriate signatures.
Operate order pickers, pallet wraps, and forklifts.
Ensure necessary equipment is available and in working order.
Conduct daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks and conveyor equipment.
Maintain detailed and accurate work records.
Collaborate with the manager to identify ways to improve department effectiveness and implement viable ideas.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
