Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and count in English.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 65 lbs. from floor to above head.
  • Must be able to verify product accuracy including: Customer name, Product code, quantity, and expiration.
  • Ability to operate Pallet Rider material handling equipment.
  • Ability to operate hand stretch wrap devices.
  • Legible handwriting needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift experience preferred; certification not required (we will certify).

Responsibilities

  • Material handling of inbound and outbound renal products by verifying sku’s, lots, quantity and condition of packages.
  • Picking and staging outbound items in the correct delivery sequence according to orders.
  • Balancing weight for the appropriate truck.
  • Checking final pick with transportation documents.
  • Manually stretch-wrapping pallets and preparing shipments for pick up.
  • Assisting with return products.
  • Inventory reconciliation.
  • Replenishment of pick locations.
  • Housekeeping and general upkeep of supplies and equipment.
  • Performing pick-pack operations.
  • Using material handling equipment for safe and efficient movement of products.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld.
  • Utilizing equipment such as box knives, tape guns, hand pallet jacks, manual stretch wrappers, and motorized MHE equipment.
  • Using communication equipment, RF scanning devices, and computers.
  • Learning and following all distribution facility policies and procedures for safety and job-specific duties.
  • Staging and balancing loads in proper sequence.
  • Ensuring proper products are loaded and all paperwork and equipment is prepared for daily driver dispatch.
  • Driving a small van to make customer deliveries in emergencies or overflow situations.
  • Processing, labeling, and staging all returned products for occasional 3PL processing.
  • Maintaining and cleaning the warehouse according to daily activity and established schedules.
  • Resolving discrepancies during order validation and loading processes with 3PL and Vantive staff.
  • Working with drivers to problem-solve and identify continuous improvement opportunities in loading and unloading processes.
