About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations by crating and pulling products, unloading trucks, preparing cartons for shipment, and helping maintain a safe, orderly warehouse. The role checks orders for accuracy and inspects cartons for structural soundness, repairing, resealing, or reboxing products as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The position is based at 1274 Industrial Blvd, Jasper, Tennessee. No experience is necessary; mechanical aptitude is helpful. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Good eye-hand coordination and excellent manual dexterity, including skill with hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend numbers.
• Ability to lift up to 86 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist, and to lift 87 to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to interact well with others.
• Ability to separate products by profiling color.
• Must be willing to obtain a license to operate motorized equipment.
• Must use safety glasses and ear plugs as instructed.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Crate and pull products and unload trucks.
• Load loose cartons into trucks and arrange them to remain stable during shipment.
• Collect wooden materials and build crates around product cartons for flatbed shipment.
• Visually inspect cartons and repair, reseal, or rebox damaged product as needed.
• Consolidate accessory and siding products on storage racks when needed.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment.
• Perform warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings with the Distribution Supervisor, if necessary.
• Perform basic Warehouse Associate 2 duties at times, based on ability and experience.
• Maintain an accurate daily time card and calculate it weekly.
• Participate in plant safety programs and perform duties in accordance with applicable health and safety manuals.
• Use required personal protective equipment and promptly report unsafe working conditions.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
