About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, part-time Warehouse Associate (also described as a Seasonal Package Handler) at its Carlsbad, California location. The role pays $18.00 per hour with weekly pay and offers a $500 seasonal bonus, subject to eligibility and other terms. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided. Potential consideration for permanent openings after the seasonal assignment is possible, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

The position runs from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. The regular shift is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with typical shifts of approximately three to four hours. End times may vary based on package volume and business needs. Overtime may be required when business needs require and is paid in accordance with applicable law. Dependability and availability for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed, are required. Premium pay is offered for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

This is an active, hands-on warehouse job involving package handling and teamwork. The associate unloads, sorts, moves, and loads packages; keeps packages and the work area organized; and helps move packages safely and efficiently to their destinations. The role involves repeated lifting, extended periods standing or walking, frequent bending and other physical movements, repetitive tasks, and working in potentially hot or cold warehouse conditions. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their destinations safely and on time.
