About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations through manual order fulfillment, product handling, and inventory accuracy. The role involves hands-on processing of orders, quality checks, and compliance with safety and operational standards in a warehouse and distribution center. This position is on-site and assigned to the second shift, scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; hours may vary by shift assignment and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs. The posted base wage is $15.11 per hour, with a $2.25-per-hour shift differential; the role is not incentive eligible. The employee may work in refrigerated or non-climate-controlled areas and is frequently exposed to loud noise, dust, odors, airborne particles, concrete floors, moving machinery, powered industrial vehicles, and warehouse traffic. Required PPE includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests. Physical tasks include prolonged standing or walking, varied postures and movements, climbing, reaching, handling equipment, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds. Occasional heavier lifting may be required, with or without assistance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least six months of general work experience.
Ability to safely operate and maneuver electric pallet jacks and hand-operated pallet jacks.
Basic math and reading skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours depending on shift.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
Ability to frequently climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds at varying heights, including ground-level and racking zones.
Ability to reach overhead and below waist level, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; occasional heavier lifting may be required with or without assistance.
Manual dexterity to operate equipment, tools, or keyboards and frequently handle, grasp, or control objects.
Visual ability to see clearly at close range and at distance, including peripheral vision and depth perception, and adjust focus.
Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions, alarms, and equipment signals in a noisy environment.
Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in warehouse or logistics environments.
Prior experience with value-added services (VAS) and order fulfillment systems.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Familiarity with electronic record-keeping and label printing systems.
Experience collaborating with customer operations or inventory teams.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick, sort, and prepare products for customer orders, including case picking, kitting, lumping, and assembly.
Assist with e-commerce and value-added service (VAS) order processing according to specific work instructions.
Load and unload products to support daily operations.
Perform visual quality checks to verify products, quantities, and customer packaging and shipping requirements.
Identify and report product defects, damage, or missing inventory to management.
Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and participate in safety and compliance training.
Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet productivity and service goals.
Accept coaching and feedback constructively and communicate respectfully.
Promote a positive and collaborative team environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
