About The Position

The Warehouse Associate (Utility) performs general labor duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment and provides temporary assistance with miscellaneous production duties across departments. The position is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule starting at 2 p.m. and continuing until work is finished. Starting pay is $20 per hour.

Requirements

Follow directions and standard procedures and respond to instructions.
Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established policies and procedures.
Immediately perceive auditory warning signals, including bells, alarms, and horns, warning of equipment start-up, movement, approach, mechanical abnormalities, or similar risks during warehouse operations.
Work independently and within a team environment.
Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs), vacuum cleaners, and other equipment.
Provide the most recent employment experience for the application to be considered complete.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area, including disposing of packaging and cartons, sweeping, storing extra materials, and cleaning up supplies.
Provide backup coverage for production positions and temporary assistance in a variety of departments.
Maintain the facility in compliance with USDA and other food safety standards.
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum areas including hallways, stairs, and office space.
Empty trash and garbage containers and clear debris from walkways.
Perform other duties as assigned.
