About The Position

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual with a can-do attitude to join our Warehouse Team. As a key link between the company and our customer base of collision repair shops, the Warehouse Associate will be a team player willing to go the extra mile. This is a part-time position with shift hours from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively
Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous experience or knowledge of auto parts
High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
Cherry picking experience is a plus
Ability to operate a cherry picker, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

Responsibilities

Processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately
Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory
Inspecting products for defects and damages
Examining ingoing and outgoing deliveries
Organizing warehouse space
Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately
Checking, verifying, and filling customer invoices
Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations
Keeping warehouse clean and organized daily
Performing duties as assigned by supervisor
Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
Pulling orders for delivery and shipment
