Warehouse Associate- Full time- Seasonal
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. This is an active, hands-on role that includes safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages; keeping packages and the work area organized; and working with a team to ensure packages reach their next destination safely and on time. Training is provided, and previous warehouse experience is not required. The position is seasonal part-time, located at 9715 N Virginia St., Reno, NV 89506. The season runs from 10/27/26 to 01/01/27. The stated shift is Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, with typical shift lengths of approximately 7–8 hours. End times may vary with package volume and business needs. The position pays $19.50 per hour with weekly pay, plus an additional $1 per hour on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Overtime pay is provided consistent with applicable law, and premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. A seasonal bonus of $500 is advertised, with eligibility and payment terms varying by location and assignment. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed. The role requires physical activity, including repeated lifting, extended standing or walking, and frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and squatting. Warehouse temperature control may be limited, so employees may work in hot or cold environments.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
- Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
- Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
- Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
- Stand and/or walk for extended periods during the scheduled shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
- Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
- Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
- Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
